Our pick of the local bloggers
We’ve found quite a few active bloggers and news site around and about, so we’ve included those that we think are mostly useful and are kept up to date.
Mainly Brent
Follow ex QPARA Chair Elaine Henderson and the goings-on in Salusbury Road.
Time to recalibrate your opinion of Harlesden and visit this blog. Remember Kensal Rise 15 years ago? and where that went?
Lively site with Twitter feeds for up-to-date news.
Journo Rose Rouse’s ramblings around Harlesden. Occasional feature-length posts but generally entertaining and informative with a sprinkling of the famous as walking partners.
For Kensal Rise & Queen’s Park. Well maintained and knowledgable, a bit like us really.
Mainly Camden
Regular contributors and a community that spills into the real world with occasional meetings. We love their weekly what’s happened since… news roundup.
And some we don’t.
Some of these are our competitors but we include them because well, frankly, they’re not very good. Nothing wrong with letting people choose though
Could the site look more dreary? Another national template re-skinned for the locals. And we don’t like Willesden referred to as a Brent Village!
National site with local syndication (currently awol). Expect to find out what’s on in Rochdale as the headline. Local, but not neccesarily to you.
And other neighbourhoods presumably. Ask for an emergency plumber and get a reply 4 years later. More life in the residents at Kensal Green Cemetery.
The title says it all as the Wembley suburban brand wants to come to a Willesden neighbourhood near you. Brent as it is seen from the Wembley Civic Centre. Get those Wembley tanks off our Neasden lawns (you know who you are IKEA and Tesco).
Localmouth
Nice local touch from Localmouth as we see his distinctive sites for Harlesden or Brondesbury or Cricklewood or even New Southgate. Spot the difference!
